About this Course

The Qur'an is written and recited in a specific way that differs in certain, subtle ways compared to other Arabic texts.  Therefore, it's important for beginner students to have these nuances explained to them clearly.  This course is designed to explain such differences so that students will be able to read the Qur'an fluently insha'Allah.

While the "Ilmstitute Arabic Vol. 1: Reading Arabic Letters" course focused on learning the letters based on how they appear in average Arabic texts, this "Read Qur'an" course focuses on:

1. How Arabic letters and symbols appear when the Qur'an is written in the mushaf
2. How to properly pronounce Arabic letters
3. How to properly recite the Qur'an following rules of tajweed
