Allah tells us in the Qur'an, "Say: 'If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to assist each other.'" [17:88]

Balaghah is the study of eloquence and rhetoric in the Arabic Language. One of the priceless benefits of studying this science is that it helps one dive deeper into understanding why the eloquence of the Qur'an is miraculous and unmatched. This course has been designed to give an easy to understand introduction regarding what this science is.

About the Instructor

Abu Muhammad Austin (Abdullah) Spray is a Muslim revert who embraced Islam in 2003. He began his journey of learning the Arabic language between 2008-2010 while studying at Rutgers University. Later, by Allah's Grace, he obtained a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Stockton University in 2012. 

After becoming a certified ESL instructor in 2013, he was accepted into the Islamic University of Madinah where he obtained a diploma as well as a bachelor's degree in the Arabic Language.

Since returning to the US, he has served as an elementary teacher in Salahuddin Future Academy and an Arabic teacher for both Tafheem Arabic Institute as well as QARI.
